Restore youth to your brow!
The brow lift is a procedure that corrects a sagging or deeply furrowed brow. It is typically used to minimise the creases (or ‘frown lines’) that appear on the forehead and the bridge of the nose. The procedure can also have the effect of raising the eyebrows to sit at a more youthful and attentive position.
The surgery normally involves making incisions in the hairline above the forehead, or at the temples. Sometimes keyhole incisions are made and a small camera (endoscope) is used to reduce scarring. After the incisions are made, then excess tissue is removed, and the skin and muscles are tightened, leaving you with a smooth and attractive brow.
Results of the brow lift are not immediate. Once the surgery is complete, your forehead may have dressings to diminish any swelling or bruising. Dressings and stitches are removed after 7-10 days, then you can safely resume your regular routine. At this point, any remaining bruises can be covered with makeup, and by now your smoother and youthful brow will be evident.
